why jagdtigers cost only 150 points

with regards to tiger2 tiger1 and jadgpanthers, jagdtigers are a true bargain

any reason why?

1) turret - a useful thing to have
2) the Tiger 2 has 66% more AP rounds stored and 100% more HE.
3) Rate of fire slightly higher in the T2 at 7 over 5

The Jagtiger will have a slightly better AP performance, but will be out of ammo quite soon. It won't turn to face reaction threats to its flanks as often due to no turret. It will have less available shots due to low ROF.

The 88L71 on the Tiger 2 will deal with everything at effective ranges, and has nearly twice the ammo and will have more shots per turn. I know which I would spend the 60 or so extra points on!. (Unless I only plan to fight Stalins at >1000 yds maybe).

Point 2 will likely be where the points come from - about 100% more stowed rounds of an almost as effective gun. Try putting the same ammo load into the JT and see what the CC costs it as?

When I notice what appears to be a pricing disparity, a closer look at the ammo loadout often reveals the culprit.

I sometimes wish I could unload half the ammo and pay less for the unit :D but then you get into realism issues and open a whole can of worms regarding every unit...

But the CC does show a strangely low AP shell value for that particular weapon, so on the to-investigate list.

Not to mention Jagtigers have very slow movement. But that's good "historically"theres that word. They broke down or smacked by air before they ever got in battle.

Jagpanthers on the other hand were fast and delivered the kill shot at long range.
Quick to scoot and reposition too when needed:D

We looked at this and there were a few issues that have been dealt with both with the cost calc itself and weapon and unit data in the OOB so the end result is in the next patch that tank will cost a bit more in the game than it does now

I am curious about how the game decides whether an AFV has turret or not. According to GG, TD is just a tank clone.

I think what he was referring to is ability the turret has to traverse.
Which gives it an advantage.
A TD is not a tank in a sense more like a armored mobile anti-tank gun.
I see that when a Marder ect. takes several hits in the side before facing.
And if you get a track hit then they only have frontal field of fire.
