Any chance for a X-Mas Dominions 3 special?
 

Any word on that? I've owned Dominions 2 for a long time, and would like to finally get Dom 3, but I wonder if I should wait a little bit and see if there is some kind of a Christmas sale by Shrapnel? Just wondering if anyone has any guesses.

When I look at the left side of the screen I see under NEWS the top item says "Shrapnel Games Kicks The Holiday Season Off Early!". Click on that.

Although, at a measly 6 dollars it's not much of a sale, but thankfully for Shrapnel and Illwinter, they seem to have cornered the lucrative 4x fantasy/Master of Magic spiritual sequel market...I suppose my wallet will become lighter by 50 bucks very soon.

Xmas Dom3 special? Maybe someone can whip up a mod where all the sprites have red hats with white fur trim.

An global on the line of Ghost Ship Armada with Bogus dressed as Santa with sneaky (and now flying!!) mooses, and a Bog Beast with a red nose, attacking enemy provinces would be legendary :D

I remember being surprised one year when upon booting up one of the Crusader games (anyone remember those? Best isometric action shooters EVAR!) and discovered that the normal music had been replaced with Christmas tunes. Laying futuristic death and destruction to 'Jingle Bells' was great.

It's a shame more games don't have those kinds of Easter Eggs.

I'm proud to say that I included Krampus, the anti-Claus, in my Nebulon mod-Nation, as a Pretender, along with his Perchta women, as multi-heroes.

I just reread the topic of the post.
Doesnt a Christmas Special mean something that gets shown on TV only around Christmas time? That sheds a whole new light on the subject when you say
