Fortified House.

Now from the house it is possible to shoot only forward.
In my opinion it is not true, there should be an all-round defense.
It probably to change?

Re: Fortified House.

Forts without turrets are directional (as in they can only fire in an arc around their "front"), so I think the easiest solution would be to replace the icon with one with an invisible turret.

Re: Fortified House.

It's supposed to represent a house turned into a strongpoint against a known line of advance. In other works is only a bunker with a house around it. It is NOT designed to represent a turreted fort where the gun has 360 degrees of coverage.

If you hack out room in a house to place an AT gun coving the street in front of the house do you seriously think you could spin it around drag it to the back of the house to fire out the back door then drag it to the front of the house again to fire at targets there all in a three minute period??

Seriously ??

'cause that's what you're asking for

There are some houses in the MBT OOB's that OOB designers have added that don't have a main gun per se but what I described is what that Icon was designed for. If there's one somewhere with just infantry weapons then they've played fast and loose with the intent of the icon. I cannot be expected to know how every one of the nearly 35,000 units in the OOB's is put together

10 soldier could make it.
They would shoot from all windows around.
It is historical. Example " House Pavlov " in Stalingrad.

Add men in garrison and make all-round defense.

Remarkable feature Fortified house - the increased morals.
For it separate gratitude. :)

YES, I KNOW that.

See the gun barrel poking out the front of the Icon ?

It was was INTENDED to represent a bunker type emplacement NOT a "strongpoint"

If the Icon had been intended as a 360 strong point it would have been set up that way but becasue it's a fort class even giving it a "turret" will not allow all weapons to fire 360 degrees.

:D You would be tickled when you see the house turning around.

It won't turn around when it's given an "invisible" turret"

Re: Fortified House.

The solution to prevent AT-gun in house from turning wildly might be combination of an invisible turret and the gun in slot 4? Then, of course, it'd mean no Sabot or HEAT ammo.
