The steel armor of Achzerit is 19 8 5 (Front Side Rear).
But the Heat armor`s 70 26 12 :eek: The level of modern MBTs :eek:

And also Unit 422 Puma
Steel Armor 28 9 6
Heat Armor 126 27 13 :eek: Even higher than a GB Chanlleger2 :eek:
Is this some OOB error?

The Israelis take crew protection very seriously and 70 for the Achzerit "The level of modern MBTs" is what it was designed to be.

The puma has a dozer blade on the front . Take some time and look at all the other units in the game with a dozer blade on the front and you'll see some similarities

The Puma and Achzerit are both built on converted MBTs, which is why the have MBT armor levels. This was done intentionally by the Israelis heh, and has also been picked up by the Russians.

Thing is, the steel armor values are still identical to those of the T-55. Even if the armor package added was geared against HEAT it should have added something against kinetic rounds.
Off hand I remember to have heard it was supposed to be able to stop early export 125mm APFSDS. Should I try to raise the issue elsewhere to see if something comes up?

I'll give it the Tiran steel armour values. That would likely be closer. Everything is a guess anyway
