Modifying Unit Availability - Won't Stick?

Hi Everyone,

Hopefully the right sub-forum to post this thread. :)

I've been trying to modify some unit availability windows to spice up existing campaign/scenario gameplay. As an example, I'm trying to expand the availability of the Stryker MGS to 2001 instead of starting in July 2006. In MOBHack, I'm able to modify the base MGS entry correctly. But using the FIND function to get the additional MGS variants, like the MGS+ and CS versions, those I cannot change. They keep reverting back to the July '06 availability. Every time I changed a unit, I saved the file. Thoughts?

Thanks!

It would probably be a good idea to save the current record's changes to RAM with the save (commit) button (F12 or the red tick mark on the tool bar) first.

See Mobhack Help->Tool Bar Buttons & Menu Items->Save Button paragraph

Otherwise your changes will have nil effect, and you will of course lose any uncommitted edits if you move onto a new record.

Saving to disk will only save off the RAM copy and so if you have not committed your edits to RAM, then nothing will change.

Cheers
Andy
