Where do bonus hit points come from?
 

Late in the game, my units have more hit points in friendly dominion. The greater the dominon, the larger the bonus is. In a dominion of 10, they have double the normal hit points. What causes this? I would like to know, so I could plan for it.

Sounds to me like you have the global enchantment "Gift of Health" up. This global ritual has effects like you describe.

Otherwise.. No clue!

all units? or just pretender and prophet?

IF it affects all units, then it's Gift of Health. If just prophet and pretender, then it's the dominion effect on prophets and pretenders.

Yes, I had gift of health up. I knew it healed afflictions, but I didn't know it had such an affect on troops. Thanks for clearing up the mystery.
