Do magic items affect the pretender's bless effects?
 

I am wondering if you start with a pretender with level three in one path and he or she gets an item that boosts his ability in that path, does that path then produce a bless effect? Or do bless effects only come from a pretender's initial dominion? If so, does empowerment affect the bless effect in that path.

The bless you set as you create your pretender can never be changed in-game.

only the initially allocated magic levels create the bless; nothing that happens in the game alters the initial bless at all.
