Missing units
 

PBEM game, first battle out of 10 IIRC.
I bought some Imperial Hawk SAM but while I can access them with the N button and they appear on both the list and the headquarters screens (ready and willing), they do not appear on the map. I don't know if they will fire at the enemy air force since so far he doesn't appear to have any on this first battle of ours.
Is this a known bug or something else?

This strikes a chord from something in the past few months. So probably fixed already.

WHO are you playing as and WHO is the opponent and in WHAT year?.
Battle type - e.g. is this an amphibious assault??.
Are these core troops, support troops or what?
Do you have a save game to debug?.

Thank you. I can't remember if I actualy deployed them on the map or not during the deployment phase, but yes it sounds a lot like what might be. They are support troops.

first battle of the pbem campaign, meeting engagement.

If you need/want to I can send the current PBEM save game (I am playing now but I have a backup of the file as received), but I will need an email address to send the password.

Not needed - as the problem is already fixed for the next patch and you have the workaround as noted in that thread, until then.

Just an update, remember those Imperial Hawks? Well, after the first battle finished I couldn't find them in the repair list so I presumed I lost them. During deployment for the second battle I couldn't find them again. So, ok, money down the drain.
In turn 2 or 3 the opponent used a couple of his planes to attack me. And out of nowhere my imperial hawks fired at the enemy planes. Also with the use of the N and P keys I could select them (but not see them) and some other units too, like a couple of ammo carriers from last battle.
If it is part of the bug already mentioned and fixed, no reason to reply. :)
