Wargame of the Year 2008

As some of you might know UseNet’s War-Historical newsgroup has a yearly Wargame of the Year election.

The results :

War-Historical's Wargame of the Year 2008 :

# 1 - Panzer Command : Kharkov - 60 points

The Silver and Bronze go to :

# 2 - War Plan Pacific - 34 points
# 3 - Gary Grigsby's War Between the States - 14 points

Wow...cool. I have 2 of the 3. But I really don't think the order is correct. Plus, it would be nice to know what the full list of wargames considered was.

A suprising statement....

I thought Birth of America 2 would be in the top three. But then that game might have been in last year's list.

Does 'suprising' mean the same as 'odd'? Don't start with me, you old fart!

Fine! If you want to replace PC:K with BOA2, and maybe rearrange the order. Thats fine by me. IMO, the PC series is slightly overrated. And I was a beta tester for the PC:OWS and did some video work with PC:K. I always thought the PC series could have been more. Needed bigger maps and better campaign(not linear).
