Just another thing we could always try to add to the game:

Could be intresting in a scenario, like sending those UAVs out ahead of the choppers.

It cannot be done. The way the game is structure, and it could not be otherwise else it would not be Steel Panthers, it works like everyone was already always equipped with Blue Force Trackers, advanced IFFs, video feeds to third parties etc.
This regardless of it being an Albania Army company circa 1948 or a Stryker Brigade in 2008.
All run by a Colonel affected by pathological micromanagement syndrome.

So these network-centric warfare advantages, both real and imaginary, cannot be simulated.
