I think it would be great to share experiences and knowledge.
And also setting up possible pbem games.

What is it that you are mentioning exactly? Please tell us how to "bar and grill". I definitely would be willing to chat with a fellow steel panthers enthusiast such as yourself if what you are mentioning is a real time forum for shop talk and small chat.

I'm not sure many realize its there. Another factor could be the time differences.

Shrapnel has added a CHAT to this forum. The button for it is in the top menu up there with FAQ and Arcade and Search.

Its a semi-IRC chat room arrangment just for members of the Shrapnel forums. You can open a private room for each game which would be great for chatter to figure out how to get the game started, and for some friendly banter while the game is going on.

Shrapnel also has plans to use it for scheduled chats with staff and developers. They have already had one with the developer of WPP which went fairly well altho its apparent that many people still do not know that the chat is there.

In briefly checking it out, it looks pretty good. Might have to make use of it more often.

Gandalf makes a very good point well done that man.
It is ideal for hammering out pregame setup for PBEM
