OT - Trade Empires
 

anybody played it? great game from the creators of Imperialism and Imperialism II. I was always impressed with how both of those games stood well on their own, each having a playstyle that was entertaining, challenging, yet different enough from each other and other games to make them both worth having.

you could say that by that definition, Trade Empires is more of the same. but in this case MotS means that its fun, unique, and challenging, standing well on its own without replacing other strategy games of similar genres. no heavy combat, but you get to exploit markets by driving small towns into abject poverty in order to sustain high margin cash-flow in your artificially created demand markets.

Iwant to play, have played both imperialism and imperialism 2, am still playing that Last one. But the game isn't available here yet http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon9.gif .

I never could get into those games. Same with the CIV games.
I tried and tried but just lost interest.

Funny that. Their is a whole wack of Stragety games that I do not like.

Guess I need space or something.
