The Wages of Arrogance and Sloppiness
 

I'm into Battle #12 of a LC as the British (April 1941, Balkans), and its been my best yet. A Defend v. the Nazi's and I've given them an utter thrashing. Turn 29 of 32, I've destroyed all of their armor. They have yet to even reach or find my main line of resistance, with most of their infantry still slogging it out in the woods with my Greek allied infantry. A few squads of Pioneers have broken through the woods, but were shot to pieces by a platoon of my British infantry and a MG platoon. I get cocky - time to run up the kills for my A-13's, running down fugitives. They spring into action! - and I discover I had missed a Jagdpanzer I at @ 600m entirely during the AI's turn. Bang! One A-13 gone. Bang! Another. Bang! A third. Only one crew survived, and it was shot down by a 4 man Infantry squad I was pursuing.

All three A13's were elite, all three got 7 shots a turn. One had 34 kills. All gone now, entirely to my own fault, and to no benefit at all. Lesson learned.

Its not easy keeping A-13's alive, either. I was proud of that group
