Strange Happenings
 
I just patched to 3.23b and was playing a SP game in preparation of a game that is about to start.

About turn 9 I noticed that my Capitol was greyed out and could not recruit anything or do any functions (although it did say I could destry my Lab if I wanted to).

The Lab was there and there was no enemy within site.

I had wondered if perhaps since my God and Prophet where gone and all I had where mercs in the city that it would be considered 'occupied' so I ran my Pretender down to my Cap but no dice...

Bug maybe, rare occurance, or just something I have never seen (it was to early for any magic to be used)?:confused:

When you hilite a greyed-out unit in the recruitment screen, does it say: "Unit (unrest too high)" ?

What functions were you trying to do, that you couldn't?

Yeah, probably unrest over 100. Before the patch, you would have posted "why can't I recruit anything?" instead of "why is everything grayed out". At least now you'll start wondering about it BEFORE the next turn is generated.

Yep, your right!!!

I had forgot to take it off 170 taxes after the first turn as I was more concerned with how my Pretender would react.

Unrest was 140...
