Generated Armor Battle 1942

50 x 50(Generated)
December 1942
Germany vs Soviet Union
Armor Battle

1x Tiger Section
1x Panzer IVF1 Platoon
2x Panzer IIIm Platoon
1x Panzer IIIj Platoon

The Map:
A major hill with a crossroads, Snow, very little trees.

The Battle
(Beginning)
I setup and plan.Since objective is to control the main hill, I plan to leave the Panzer IVF1s as reserve. The Panzer IIIjs will flank the hill from the north and move in on the hill.1 panzer IIIm platoon will move in the center, supported by the Tigers. The other Panzer IIIm Platoon will stop any flank attacks in the south as well as flank incoming soviet tanks on the hill. The begin was pretty quiet with everything going according to plan.My center Panzer IIIm Plt sets up defensive positions over looking east of the hill.First contact is made when a Panzer IIIm in the center opens up and fires on what looks to be a T-34 Platoon. We manage to immoblize One of them.

(Mid Action)
The soviets try flank attack with 4 armored cars but were no match for the
Panzer IIIjs that met them. The northern platoon begins to move on the hill only to be engaged by 4 T-34s and a KV-1.I lose 2 tanks killing 3 T-34s but my panzers are no match for KV-1.My Panzers try to withdraw, but I lost another Panzer IIIj and the remaining one was immobile.I needed to protect my flanks, so it was time to move in with Panzer IVF1s.1 of my Tigers manages to nock out the KV-1 from afar atop the hill, it was beautiful. No soviets are throwing everything they've got at us.6 T-34s and 3 KV-1s vs my 4 Panzer IIIms and 2 Tigers. To add to that, the north was under attack by T-60s.The Panzer IVF1's short barrel HE gun was not good against armor so I had to redeploy 1 of my Tigers into a better positon. As you can imagine, the Tiger made short work of them.In the center I had lost 2 Panzer IIIms already from those KV-1s.So, I pull a fantastic flank attack with my south Platoon, coming right behind the KV-1s, nocking them out fairly quickly.

(End)
With the KV-1s nocked out, amd the remaining enemy being a mop up for my
Tigers, I thought it was over. But no, 2 SU-122s come out of no where and
nock out a Panzer IIIm.In the end I lose 3 more Panzer IIIms, and my Tigers had a long exchange of fire with SU-122s and manage to nock out both.

Game Ended with a minor Victory for germany.

Hope you enjoyed the AAR.

Good sit rep. I've got you're caualties at 8. Not bad, considering. How did you make sure it was all tanks against you? Also, would you do it again without the Tigers?

Oh, I picked the armor for AI but I gave the AI huge numerical advantage over me and let the AI deploy its units it self so I didnt where the KVs where going to pop up.I'll be sure post a battle without the Tigers as support though.
