Need info on Blitz gaming
 

So I got some time on my hands, and it's been some time since I've played dom3 multi, I want to hook myself up with blitz games, though not sure if people start public blitz games on llamaserver. A little information on how does it work? Usual 24 later 48 hour pace games go a bit slow for my taste and as the days pass by, there comes a situation which I need to cut myself off from the net for a time and the game I play is ruined. Any medicine for this addict?

Generally blitz games aren't played on llamaserver, and they are usually coordinated on the dominions IRC channel (sometimes a thread on the forum pre-arranging the time/settings). Recently it's been a bit hard to find blitz players, but in theory 4-5 players should be possible if coordinated ahead of time.

There is also a link on how to setup a game (such as a blitz all-day play) since starting a thread here announcing one of the games will be an all-day blitz or in IRC chat (the CHAT button on this forum appears to be dead) tends to work better at getting active players.

Most of those games that are pre-setup are for the average small game and cap out at 4 players. But if you want a blitz for more players (I think 94 is the max), or a larger map (1500 provs is the max), or a specific non-randomly generated map, or certain mods, or special settings you have seen in any other game then just let me know
