OT question about Computers

Greetings. Hey, forgive me for starting this off topic thread, but I need a question anwsered, and you people seem to be the best people to answer that question.

What is the MS Config command for Windows 2000? I type in msconfig, or ms config, but it does not recognize it. I need to set up my the system on my brother PC, a win 2k OS, but can figure out the correct command to use.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

There is no MsConfig AFAIK in W2K. Can you be more specific what you want to do?

He wanted to do what MS config does for windows in win 2k or come close to having the same features so he could kill some programs that are running in the back ground of our younger brothers PC. To help it boot and run smoother.

CNC,

There is LOTS out there on this topic.

I suggest you type "msconfig win 2000" in Google.

There are many tips and downloads, depending on what you wish to do.
