Freespawn and Turn Resolution Sequence
Does anyone know exactly where freespawn generation fits into the turn order? My best guess is that it would be under "20.Special Orders", as this is when 'Summon Allies' and "Reanimate" takes place (which are similar to freespawn). But I can't be certain, and am finding it difficult to come up with a decent test to confirm it.

I have used the following tactic, but I don't remember the details. Either its: A: send horror. B: move vamp in stealthy c: vamp spawn takes province. or its Vamp is in province A. Send horror. B. spawn takes province. C. stealth away. you could, as a test take the a free spawn unit and mind hunt it to see if it occurse before rituals. You can do my vampire test above to see if its before or after movement. Some commanders have dominion summon. you could determine whether it was before or after dom spread by sticking them in neutral territory with a prophet. I think its the first case. |

Although I'm 99.9% certain (can never be 100% with Dominions) that freespawn occurs after the movement phase. This is because all you have to do is move any freespawn creating unit (with no troops under its command) to a different province, and the freespawn will be available in the province the unit moved to, and not the province it came from. My problem is I can not confirm at which stage after movement that the freespawn generates, so I'm hoping someone with knowledge of the code or unit specifics can help shed some light on the matter. |

It's after the movement phase. I've had scouts with infernal contracts move into provinces and generate battles.
