How do I find my pretender save file?
 

Ok I created a pretender to play in a multiplayer game, but how do I find it in the dominions folder? I read some instructions that it is in the savegame folder but I don't see that folder anywhere.

Wrong forum for this question. You already asked about the key file, if you found where it is then you should see the folder named "savedgames" there, too. The pretenders are in there in a folder named "newlords".

I have Vista which might be the problem.

If you have Vista, then you might have problem. If you have dominions installed on the default directory (C:/Program Files/Dominions3) the Vista will not allow it to add files under any sub-directory of the Program Files, so the pretender files get thrown.. somewhere (I was never able to find them when I had the same problem).

Easiest way to get over this is to re-install Dom3 to a different directory, like directly in C: or something. Important thing is that it's no longer under Program Files.

I know, Vista really sucks.
