Adjusting start date of a pbem campaign

Don, Andy or any MBT gurus,

I noticed that when trying to set up a pbem campaign the default date is 1974. I was wondering WHY the game will ONLY allow you to change the default start date from 74 back to the 40s. You CAN'T change it 74 to present. Why is that?:confused:

Possibly because it cant start before it ends, increase the end date first
