Played scenario 2. Stonne

Pretty fun scenario, though rather tense, as the French armour tries to actually spot the Germans.
As the French you get a pretty overwhelming advantage, but most of your infantry is far off to the right side of the map, and wont make it to the town of Stonne before the last couple of turns.

The last turn or two ended up being a mad dash to capture as many locations as possible.

One odd thing was that the retreat routes seem to be mixed up. The Germans will retreat right, into the teeth of the French advance, while the French will retreat left, into the Germans.

Overall a fun scenario, its nice to play with the French tanks, and the need to fight with very little artillery or infantry support makes for an interesting exercise. I couldn't help shake the feeling that the scenario might have worked smoother with one or two more turns, to let both the French and German reinforcements fight a bit longer

Try this

Load that sceanrio in the editor

Once it's loaded click on the button below "map sides" that will say "LOCKED". Once you press it the message will change to "FREE"

The button below that will have also changed from "Tourney" to "SWAP"

Press SWAP then save the sceanrio in a blank slot somewhere and play out a couple of turns . The French sould retreat right and the Germans Left but given the French approach from two sides it's really a toss up what works best.

Could try using set rally hex button instead. If remember from when I played it Germans could be set so whole force route down the map. French could be set by company if really wished to head for the sides, just set the ones on the right to go right.

Thats fine for a full route or retreat but to fix the initial retreat direction you need to switich sides first
