Request to mapmakers
 

Well, I was thinking of doing some experimental mod this summer, which would require me to have some handmade maps for it.

I'm not exactly an artist, so I'd be very grateful if someone could make one (or more) beatiful maps with about 100 to 150 provinces, fixed starts and fairly distributed special provinces of two types (henges and cities).
Say provinces/4 cities which are farmlands (and no other farmlands), and provinces/6 henges which are wastelands (and no other wastelands).

I think we'd all be grateful for beautiful maps of that size.

As a not-as-good workaround, I might start looking again at scripting something in ImageMagick or GIMP to convert generated maps into hand-drawn. I like the hand drawn look and it would give us access to mass produced maps.

Tech Notes:
Downgrading colors to 8 or less, run Sepia filter. Possibly other filters. Play with the sequence of filters and converts for best effect.
