Ok.. thanks to Burnsaber for the heads up on the amphibian tag. Foodstamp and Sombre for quick replies too.

Soo if you want to give underwater nations a few more pretenders that are more or less in line with what CBM did for their land based brethren... you can.

I'll probably add more as time goes on.

You haven't given any of them #ambhibious or #aquatic taqs, perhaps that's the issue? Besides, I'm not sure if you can use #restrictedgod more than once per unit.

Gave em all wavebreakers.. which lets them breath underwater.

But besides that, even the lady of fortune (natively a water breather.. couldn't get selected as a god.

Giving them wave breakers only gives them the weapon wave breaker, not the special abilities. You need to assign them amphibious or aquatic tags as well. That should fix the issue!

P.S. I am pretty sure burnsaber is right about the restrictions, the way around this is to copy the pretender to a new monster number and restrict that guy instead.

Here is an example of how to do that:

But I *already* used FS's technique.
For example, crone of the deep *is* a copy of crone.

Sucko. Have to add the amphibian tag; needs a higher cost.

I think FS was saying that for restricted nations, each nation needs its own copy of the god. So you'd need 3 crones of the deep - one with #restrictednation 21, 1 with #restrictednation 22 and 1 with #restrictednation 26.
