Small question on Call God

How exactly is Call God worked out? Say you have all your priests all over the map ordered to Call God, do they all contribute to the same calling? Or do all these priests work on their own, individual calling?

All together.
Otherwise it would take forever. Late in the game it often only takes a turn or two.

It would be nice if each game turn provided the exact remaining amount needed for bringing back a pretender.
