The Demise of Edensoft
I was wondering if anyone could comment about why Edensoft quit. The game has not been out for that long, and little has been written about it. Should Edensoft have been more agressive in promoting their game? Should they have gone through a distribution site like Shrapnel? It almost feels like they made it to the end and ran out of resources to hang in and see the fruition of their product.

Re: The Demise of Edensoft
Actually when I did work for Edensoft we had a more agreesive campaign than most wargame companies. Only thebig boysandmaybe BFC and Shrapnel mighthave spent more on advertising. We also had some big interviews and articles printed up on us.

Richard,
Is the game any good? I can't find a detailed review of the game after it's release. Thanks. |
Re: The Demise of Edensoft
I think it's pretty good.
You can heck out Gamecenter, The Gamers Net, and Gamesdomain just off the top of my head. ------------------ Sarge is coming... Richard Arnesen Director of Covert Ops Shrapnel Games http://www.shrapnelgames.com |
