Bug ? ( NO ) The Road to Fallujah scenerio.

Player 1's J0,J1,J2 units have the icon and info sheet for the 2lb portee tank destroyer, but name and weapons for the Fordson Vickers machine gun trucks.

Re: Bug: The Road to Fallujah scenerio.

1/ A "bug" is code that is supposed to do one thing but does another so this isn't a "bug" .

2/ This is the way it is becasue the scenario designer manually took the 2pdr out and added the Vickers ( as can clearly be seen by clicking on any of those units )but any unit info that refers back to the encyclopedia will always show the unaltered original unit as the encyclopedia doesn't contain any of the altered scenario data

It's not a "bug" or an error. It's how the game works when scenario designers make changes to existing units

Fair enough, just hadn't run into that set of circumstances before. I don't know what you mean about "clearly" however. What I saw was a mixed up jumble of contradictory data.

Anyhow, that's the way it works, I'm good with it.

It's in the scenario which was modified by a designer,
Not what you would get if you purchased same unit in a battle or campaign.
Hope that helps.
These developers get a little peeved if you say it's a bug and it's something that was not done by them:D

Well, the name of the unit is "Fordson Vickers" and right clicking on the unit shows it's armed with a Vickers HMG seemed clear to me but then I know there is no "Fordson Vickers" in the OOB so therefore it's a scenario designer mod and ignore any encyclopedia data.

And yes, sometimes I forget everybody doesn't know this

Re: Bug ? ( NO ) The Road to Fallujah scenerio.

When playing any scenerio if there is a disparity between the info screen & the vehicle ignore the info screen its been modified by the creator.
Does not apply to regular games when info screen is always correct.
