Advice

Can someone tell me how much points are ideal for...

small scale operations? (mostly infantry and light tanks)

medium battles (mostly tanks with some infantry)

big wars (with planes, tanks, artillery)

Re: Advice

That really depends on who you are fighting as and when. 500 points as the Germans in 1944 buys you a much different force than 500 points as Spanish Republicans in 1938 or Chinese Nationalists in 1932

Re: Advice

If you set the points for you to bigger than you need say 5,000 for WW2 & the points for the other player/computer to XXX it will use the number of points you use.
Now buy what you want & the computer will purchase based on what you "spent" not the number entered.
Hope that helps.

In an AI campaign, the point setting only applies to what your initial core purchase is to be. In all other battles, the ratio is set by (your core's value + any support points expended by you) * mission multiplier.
