New game CBM Blitz on dom3minions server
 

Hi to all,
I've created a game in the CBM Blitz games section of the Dom3minions server.

This is my third multiplayer game so I don't have any appreciable experience in the game set up or game managing.

The game is set in the middle era, its name is cbm_sliest on port 9650 , the CMB is ON and my nation is ERMOR, at this moment no other player has joined the game.

Any help to expose better the game details or to manage the game progress would be welcome, sorry for the bad english.

Did I commit some errors? Why doesn't anybody give me a response or join the game?

I think players like to see what they are getting into first.
list these things in the first post very clearly:

Age:
Settings (Gold, Resources, Supply, Sites, Research, Events):
Mods:
Map:
Number of Players:
Special Rules (if any):

player names : player nations



Go look at the templates of how other people start their games; you will see everyone look just like that. Also, notice how they name their post:

Game name - other info(mods, special settings) - status

such as:

MyGame - CBM1.6, standard settings - recruiting


Games need names! Also, you might start a series. Any game you make uses some name in that series (like MyGame 1, MyGame 2; or Rhesus Monkey, Spider Monkey, etc).

It also helps if you provide a link in your post to the mods and map your are using (especially with the Dom3minions server, which doesn't have links to these things, I don't think).

Also, I doubt that many people are checking the forums for blitz games. The forum is usually for non-blitz games. The way to find or set up blitz games is usually get on Dom 3 IRC channel: #dominions on GameSurge network.

Thanks for the clarification, maybe is better that I join a game managed by others when avaible.

Just go on IRC, they blitz there all the time.

In the forums, it's a day per turn at the very best, usually.
