Effect of N path on Regeneration

After some talk in IRC, I tested Regen in conjunction with mages with Nature magic.
Results: - Having level L in Nature does not affect innate regen - Having level L in Nature does not affect regen from items - Having level L in Nature gives a per-turn bonus to regen of +L HP, when the regeneration is the result of a spell. So a 50HP unit with 10N will get (5 + 10) = 15 per turn regen. - Having level L in Nature gives a per-turn bonus to regen of +X HP, X is close to L, when the regeneration is the result of a bless. So if the god has N6 for a 10% bless, a blessed 50HP unit with 10N will get for example (5 + 8) = 13 per turn regen. Sorry, could not figure out the exact formula. - Having level L in Nature magic does not otherwise affect the effectiveness of Regeneration or Mass Regeneration spells (vanilla units do not regenerate more) |

What weird results. How very typical of dom3.

Re: Effect of N path on Regeneration

That bonus for a spell is constant, not a percentage of hp?
	So if the 50hp 10N mage gets (5+10)=15/turn a 10hp 10N mages get 1+10=11/turn? And a bit less for blessed N mages? |

		Yes, to all the questions.

When you have the Gift of Health up, and put a Shroud of the Battle Saint on an already Holy unit, your Regen percentage for a Nature Bless is doubled, and based on your new HPs (so N10 is 40% of (base HPs + GoH HPs)).
	Regen is weird. |

Agreed! I had no idea about the double regen from the shroud. I didn't even try to figure out the regen bonus on gods and prophets.

Honestly I think the right word is .. bugged.

Yep. The shroud thing sounds like an exploit to me.

Consistent with my tests. Never tested the Shroud in that case though. Interesting.

I view the shroud result as similar to the effects caused by earth bless with bracers..
