blood stone in CBM

Does blood stone economy works in CBM?
In one of games I've read:

According to people's wishes, we will be going WITHOUT gem gens (thats CBM 1.6)

What does it mean?

TGem gens are all unique in CBM. So no blood stone economy, no clamming, no fetish farms.

Aye, though I think they're adding in a new one next version to compensate (yay!). Can't remember which artifact, though.
