A (short) battle anyone?
 

Hi everybody,
i have played various SP Versions over the last years but never tried PBEM.
I am looking for a short, small battle to get used to it. About 500 to 1250 points and up to 15 rounds should do it.
I prefer European Theater from July ´43 (Husky) till end of war playing GB, Germany or USA but can try other European nations/dates as well.
Can do several turns a week/maybe a day.

Thoughts about rules & other things to mention:
- i think the random maps are horrible, let´s take a custom one.
- victory hexes should be set at plausible locations like town centers, crossroads, hilltops, bridges, fords...
- since my eyes are not the best, i have some problems with winter maps :hurt: but when a special battle (e.g. Bastogne) dictates a winter map we can do it.
- realistic amount of artillery, maybe 1 artillery battery and a platoon of mortars per company.
- realistic and balanced forces (e.g. no hordes of snipers, scouts, AT. At best, take the given whole companies).
- no 1st turn bombardment/(recon-)planes except smoke.
- i don´t play to win. Both should have fun, it´s a game :)
- IF i am motivated, i can do battle reports after the game. If you don´t want the battle (your tactics etc...) become public, please tell me in time.
- and last but not least: please do not communicate "battle spoilers" during the game ;)

Hello. If you want to play. You can also register in this site and you can find players. You can take control over the files downloaded or uploaded.
But if you want to do a small part of 1000 points to a company of infantry, some cars and some artillery. Small map of 50x40. Click at the map with the layout of v-hexes you want but are not together.
