Already on September, 3rd, 1964 Minister for Foreign Affairs of Chyprus Spiros Kiprianu in Moscow has signed the contract about the military help, according to which USSR of the beginnings of delivery of arms on island. In current of year (with 1964 on 1965) 35 tanks T-34-85, 45 armored troop-carriers BTR-152B1, 100-mm artillery pieces BS-3 and 76,2-mm ZIS-3, 82-mm recoyless gun B-10, anti-tank operated rocket systems 3M6 ' Shmel ', grenade cup discharges SPG-9 and RPG-7, caterpillar tractors ATS-712, cars ZIL-157 and GAZ-69 have been put to Chyprus.
