Item Spells
Couple questions for the experts:
1. For items that contain a spell, such as Numbness on an Ice Pebble Staff, does the commander equipped with this item accrue fatigue when Numbness is cast via the item? In other words, would a mage that's already capable of casting Numbness benefit from such an item? 2. When a commander dies of old age, what happens to his equipped items? Thanks! |
Re: Item Spells
1. 5 fatigue per cast. You can cast item spells twice per turn if you have quickness. Encumbrance does not matter, so go ahead and give your guy a Heart of Life and he'll never run out of gas, even wearing Boots of Quickness. There's no point in giving such an item to a mage, usually. An ordinary 40gp commander will usually do, unless you want better precision with higher HP, then summon a Sleeper.
2. They get buried with him. So, take them off before he dies. |
