windows 7 dominins issues
 

im running dom on my new win7 machine to try nd take my turn, my main pc is broke atm.

i cant find the saved games folders, or where to put mods i downlad, any help on win7?

See the FAQ which is stickied at the top of this forum. The FAQ refers to Vista, but the directory info applies to Win7 too, I believe.

Thanks Stavis! I read over that and it helped a little, I have CBM mod installed now, but worthy heroes came in a folder of its own and putting that folder into the mods doesnt make it show as an option in the game, also emptying the folders contents directly into mods folder doesnt make it show either, any advice on this one?

worthy heros is incorporated into cbm, so if cbm is on, worthy heros is on. assuming you didn't move the file somewhere else

I dont think we are playing with cbm on though. its a vanilla game with worthy heroes and the new patch on

The Worthy Heroes folder inside CBM contains *only* the graphics. The mod portion itself is incorporated into the .DM for CBM. If you *just* want Worthy Heroes, you'll need the standalone version of that mod (which, BTW, has not been maintained in quite a while, due to its inclusion in CBM.) There should be a "WorthyHeroes.DM" or similarly named file inside it.

well its saying i need heroes 1_8 to run this game, thats with CBM installed.

I am also in that game...I don't believe we are playing CBM (at least not the new version) as people are clamming like crazy. But we are on like turn 72 or something, I really don't remember.

Look at the first page, should tell you what is running.
