UK Land Rover Replacement
Looks like the British Army will get some new ‘Light Patrol Vehicles’ with IED protection.
I'm not sure that the contract is signed yet. The BvS VIKINGS were and example of equipment bought under this streamlined process, though later replaced by the WARTHOG. Force Protections OCELOT is the other contender to the SPV 400. British MOD purchased two OCELOT's to continue farther testing in the LPPV program. The OCELOT is competing against the SPV-400 for this contract.
