Order of Unique Summons?

The unique summons - Arch Devils, Elemental Royalty, Treelords etc. that are summoned. I believe they arrive in a certain order? But does anyone have a list of which order that is?

I have an older version of the Dom 3 database (from Edi??) which shows all the ID numbers. Is the #ID number the order in all cases? Does anyone have a list in order of these?

I think you can cast the spell (and so spend the gems) even if there are none left and so no one arrives? But if I have just caste summon ice devil and say Gaap has arrived. Is there likely to be an Ice Devil left? Or is there just no way to know?

Also what happens when one of the Unique summons dies? They are available to be resummoned (I think) but where about in the order do they come? At the end or as their usual number. So if the first Air Elemental Queen dies will the next person to cast for an Elemental Queen get her or the next never summoned one?

I thought they came at random. I haven't seen any pattern, but then again I haven't paid any attention to the order of arrival.

Well You could be right :) But I thought they came in a specific order. If they don't my questions become rather irrelevent :p

They arrive randomly, I'm absolutely sure and I'm sure others are as well. I could test it but I doubt it's necessary. Sometimes you get Belphegor, sometimes you get the Goat Sun...

Re: Order of Unique Summons?

treelords are random as far as I know.
as my opinion I would say this - summoning spells create random effects.

Usually the multiple forms for a spell are sequential. So its very easy for the devs to write something like

monstersummoned = 1380 +rnd(3)
if he wanted one of 1381,1382,1383 summoned.

wish, as I'm sure you know, only summons the lowest number.

OK Thanks for all your answers. Random it seems to be.
