Re: Some Czechland news
Nice work.
Just minor note that Active Reserve Tank Company use all variants of T-72 except T-72M4. The reason behind that is probably that army wants to have crews operating all T-72s variants otherwise I don't know. Regards PN |
Re: Some Czechland news
Hello there,
You were right, I should have checked the pictures first! Great stuff! While I'm at a complete loss telling what is what in the pre-45 armored cars, the pics of the Pandurs give great coverage. I never realized the OHWS was that big. On a separate note, the dismounting/mounting of the gun from the Vz.53/59 looks much more straightforward than I thought. How long was it taking in real time? Keep up the good work! |

Re: Some Czechland news
Thanks to Pavel for correcting me, will try to get more accurate info o other aspects as well - for example on the Airborne Mech Bn, there I had only TOEs for one company.
Plasmakrab, yes, the dismounting was very fast (and surprised me as well) - didn't have a stop watch, but looking at time stamps of the photos, it took ca. minute and a half, mounting it back about the same. |
Re: Some Czechland news
Some news from the Land Forces Day of yesterday:
Light troops fire support vehicle, Land Rover 110 Kovboj. Similar in concept to airborne LR 130 Kajman, but with smaller capacity - while Kajman was designed to transport a full squad, Kovbo carries only its crew. Light fragment protection from front and back. Armament of a DShK HMG or AGS-17 AGL and a PKB. http://img5.rajce.idnes.cz/d0509/3/3...s/Bahna378.jpg Rest of the gallery is here: http://tuccy.rajce.idnes.cz/Bahna_20...nd_Forces_Day/ And two generally cool pics... http://img5.rajce.idnes.cz/d0509/3/3...s/Bahna156.jpg http://img5.rajce.idnes.cz/d0509/3/3...s/Bahna332.jpg |
