Interesting question

If you empowered a theurg communicant in astral, would he be able to cast communion master? Would it work?

If you give a crystal matrix to a theurg communicant (again s1) does it work?

Why not? I've seen mages cast communion master and communion slave, and it had precisely the effect you'd imagine.
