Sometimes the dice just dont go your way
One of those turns visibility is only 250 yards so things are a bit close quarters but greif.
Enemy turn & it all started with Z fire by a tank I think scoring a direct hit on my light tank, heard the clunk then saw the flames. My Engineers were at it again there op fire was effective but DC destroyed the truck & APC they had just exited. Despite firing at very close range my tanks were terrible shots one managed to miss & immobilised my APC in cover behind a building:doh: To top it off a squad routes into a hex containing a freindly squad & APC resulting in an errant Baz round destroying it. At this rate if the enemy just moves around a bit I should be able to take care of destroying my forces for him. Still the odds mean I should be in for a good turn sometime soon. |

Well no sign of a good turn yet one bridge falls to enemy fire on purpose I think the other an errant round by my 5.5in gun took it down, just one round I think maybe 2:doh:
There is not a ford in sight without a long run with 250yd vision so move to take position for a stream crossing. 12 vehicles try it did not expect the 4 trucks to make it but only one tank & an APC made it out of the other side, argh thats a whole platoon of tanks that got stuck time to go defensive & see if I can at least hold onto the ground I have got. |
