Romania never get transports for its parachutes
 

Hi,

After trying more than 15 times, I never get transports for my romania parachutes.

Maybe is it because in the romania OOB there isn't a transport formation despite having the ju52 plane as unit ?

You need to have airstrikes available to get transports, buy them first then the strikes if want them. A campaign decides if you get any or not

I know, I set up a battle with airstrikes set to 1 and tried up to 10 times, none have transports.

I did the same for USA just to be sure I weren't doing something wrong, and I got transports in my first try.

Perhaps I were really unlucky.

I just tried & you are right looks like there is a problem for the moment if you want Ju 52s just buy them from Germany as captured they are on the last page of misc screen.

There are para formations available from 1941, and paras with integral aircraft ([A] formations) from 1942. However there is no separate air transports formation whatsoever in that OOB. As you have just discovered :)!

it needs looking into (probably moving the [A] formation start dates back as well as adding a separate planes-only formation).

For now as suggested, buy some from allies when required. Or edit your OOB and add one for now.

The lack of independent air transport has been corrected for the next patch and as I recall the reason the integrated [A] units start 6 months later than the leg para units was becasue air transport for para units wasn't really available on any scale worth noting in Romania before the start of 1942 so that was deliberate and is not an error. However, the fix in the OOB will allow purchase of air transport earlier and units can be constructed simulating the limited availability
