BCT / ATF scenarios
 

I'm thinking about purchasing one or both of these games. The question is are these the same games but with different scenarios? Also, how many scenarios come with each? I'm just getting started, not interested in creating my own ( YET ).

Which games?

We have 3 separate families of games (listed from oldest to newest).

1. BCT Commander Engine
2. Armored Task Force (ATF) Engine
3. Air Assault Task Force (AATF) Engine

#3 is backwards compatible with #2, sol scenarios built for ATF work in AATF. Just install AATF over your ATF Engine game.

BCT Commander is a gold pack of all previous BCT engine games, so it is stand alone, but it is not compatible with ATF or AATF. It has over 30 scenarios

Under the ATF Engine, there are several games (the scenario counts might be off by 1 or 2):

1. ATF (14 scenarios)
2. Raging Tiger (14 scenarios)
3. The Falklands War (14 scenarios)
4. The Star and the Crescent (14 scenarios)

Under the ATF Engine, there are a few games, as well:

1. AATF (14 scenarios)
2. March to Baghdad, Episode 1 (a free mini-game available at ArmchairGeneral.com, 2 scenarios)
3. Battlegroup Commander (mini-game, 2 scenarios)

If you install AATF or BGC over any or all of the ATF Engine games, you can play the older scenarios in the newer engine.
