Is there any way to tell if an atmosheric convesion plant is working or how much time remains 'til the conVersion is completed?

As soon as the atmospheric modification plant is built it starts to convert the atmpsphere. I think for the level three plant it takes 20 turns. But to my knowledge, there is no way to see how far along a planet is to being converted.

Does it take 20 turns or two years. For the facilities that take years, I think the counter starts in .0 of that year. Meaning if you complete the facility in .1 it does not start working until the following .0. Example build facility in 2500.1, it actually starts working in 2501.0. If it takes two years it will finish in 2502.9. That is different from 20 turns which would be 2502.1.

and now it'll get even more confusing since I upgraded a II level (2.5 year) plant to a III level (2.0 year) plant...hope I'm still in the game in ~20 turns.

space may have been better used for research facilities...

Given the fact that it can be 2.5 years, plus I do recall having Atmosphere conVersions complete on consecutive turns, I believe that it takes exactly 20-30 turns after you finish construction.
