Long campaign

Hello. I'm playing a long campaign with Germany. After the campaign in France I am in Africa on November 41. Ask her about it: some time the campaign ends in Africa or lasts up to 45? Has any advantage or disadvantage changing theater of operations?
I appreciate the responses

Changing theatre, if you have the option available, will obviously put you into conflict with different opponents, in different geography.

e.g. as UK you could choose to fight in the Far East, and therefore play the Japanese in tropical terrain, rather than sticking with Europe and the Nazis as opponents.

The Nazis can choose to stay in North Africa till they were kicked out of Tunisia, and play vs. the UK, Commonwealth and later on the USA. Or they can go to Russia when that time comes, or again choose to stick to fighting the Western Allies in Sicily, Italy, and/or NW Europe. (Less advanced armour required as against the Russians, but more attention to AA units, perhaps).

Cheers

Ok. Thanks Andy. I understand. Different theaters give you options of different enemies and land. One more thing I wanted to know if every theater has a specific year of completion. For example because the theater of the Balkans should be completed in 43 and then restarted maybe in 44 or 45. In Africa the struggle is to 44? Could this happen? It is the last question and thank you for being so kind to answer.

Theatres exist only for a nation for it's historical WW2 time frame. So North Africa ends as a German (or allied) option with Tunisia.
