OBAT 37 - Czechoslovakia - RM-70

By the end of this year, last vz.70 MRLs will be withdhrawn from active duty. Last live fire exercise will take place on October 26th.

Have they replaced the vz.70 with anything else or have they backed away from rocket arty altogether ?

No replacement, arty will retain tube artillery only. 120mm mortars on Bn level, 152mm ShKH in two artillery bn's of Artillery Bde.
