Spies
 
How do you get rid of spies in your territory? I've been patrolling for a while now to no avail; I can't seem to get rid of these spies!

Give the patrolling commanders more troops. Ring of warning also boosts patrol (but a bit of a waste of gems).

Other things that affect patrol: unrest in the province. The amount of ap or if the unit is flying of the patrolling troops. (A flying unit counts as having 30 ap). And the precision of the units patrolling.

Anotherway to get rid of hidden enemies is using remote attack spells. Sadly most do not work on hidden enemies. But mind hunt does.

If you really need to get rid of the spies, Watchers seem like a nice option. Unfortunately, they require a mage as the patrolling commander.

Doesn't have to be a mage. I just GoRed a watcher and it has 10 magic leadership, just waste a lot of gems and you could have a crazy 550 patrol force!

Rocs are good to if you're using EDM and can be put to other uses after they eat the spies. The manual gives a good description of the patrol/stealth check, take a look at it.

Ive always liked slingers as my patrollers. Cheap, decent AP.
