Help creating a scenario
So I am trying to create a few fun little scenarios for a friend of mine to cut his teeth on.
My question is.. is there a way to make an AI unit stay in one place until it spots the enemy? Cheers |
Re: Help creating a scenario
Maybe make it sit on top of a v-hex?
but this would make it clear for the player that there's something there... |
Re: Help creating a scenario
You could try setting the reaction value (in HQ view) to 0 and then assigning 3 waypoints per turn all in the same spot for the duration. If it is a scout vehicle (from what I understand of Pyros' notes in the manual) you'd need to also set it to be a reinforcement arriving on turn 3 (100% chance).
If that doesn't work, try following the patrol route example that Pyros gives in the manual. Just have the unit do a small loop around a few hexes. Hope this helps, Brian |
Re: Help creating a scenario
If the AI is defending it usually won't move until the V hexes are captured and then it moves all available units to them. Hope this helps!
