Is there any way to redo turns in singleplayer?
Greetings,
although the manual says that absolutly no saving and then doing something is possible in singleplayer, could it be possible to f.e. get around it? For example by copying the game folder? On any account, adding some kind of actual save feature would greatly lessen the learning curve/wall, especially since (stupid) mistakes can be very frustrating. Basically, my own spead in coming to grips (as in, becoming remotely MP competent) with this game is about halfed due to not being able to save in single player, especially in regards to tactical battles. Cheers, Mightypeon |

You can copy your turn files to a location outside of the saved game folder if you like, this will give you the ability to go back and look at your turn later by just copying it back in. As I recall someone also made a save game utility that is probably in the maps and mods forum somewhere, but I've never used it and have no idea if there would be any problems with it or not.

It is not even necessary to copy the saved game folder to another location. I use control c and control V to get a copy of the folder with the gamename. When you want to replay a turn delete the current version and remove the "copy of" part of the duplicated game. The “copy of” files do no show up in the game list when you open a game thus also no cluttering of games in that list

Be aware, however, that this route leads to Eternal Damnation.
