enemy dominion giving god higher hp?
 

My god is in enemy dominion and when check his hitpoints during a battle it says "basic hit points 155, dominion penalty -124, current hitpoints 407"

Anyone know what could be causing this?

only mods im using are cb1.84, and llamabanners.

Was he moving from a province with high friendly dominion? If I understand correctly, the HP is set by the dominion where the pretender is located at the start of turn.

Well, hp counts are updated later. Sadly I do not know the exact mechanics.

I think it was something at the start of the turn. For hp effects assume the unit fights in the province he/she was in last turn.

Of course this only applies for HP iirc. Not for other dominion related effects, morale, prophet bonuses.

Yeah, this game can be a bit confusing.

Being in YOUR dominion increased it majorly. Now that he is in an enemy dominion it will start dropping

Ah so its delayed. yea i think he moved from a +8 dominion province. It was a flying manticore.

One extra thing to keep in mind in this kind of scenarios is that while you do indeed keep the hit points from the province you started in, any regeneration you might have will be calculated based on the hit points you'd have in the province you're currently in. (x% of 31hp in this specific situation, unless I miscounted.)

And doesn't start working until he's below the current max 31hp in this case
