Events mechanism question
Hello,
I have a question regarding events mechanism, maybe anyone knows. There is an events database. And I have few questions about it. 1. If some types of events can't happen because of scales restriction, what happens - just another kind of event happens, of just less events will happen? 2. Events in db have restrictions like Turmol 1, for example. DOes it mean that it should be exactly turmoil 1, or turmoil 1 or more order? Or turmoil 1 or less order? Is logic the same here for good events and bad? |
Re: Events mechanism question
Off the top of my head
1: I don't think anyone really knows, but I suspect just another kind of event happens 2: Without checking each event, they tend to mean turmoil 1 or less order. Order 1 would mean order 1 or more order. |
Re: Events mechanism question
If an event can't happen but an event is called, another event happens instead.
The scale restrictions are always the minimum scales of that type for the event. So turmoil 1 means turmoil 1 or more. Death 0 means death 1, 2 or 3 OR neutral scales, but can't happen if there is growth. Most of that is laid out in the Dom3 Events List thread (see my sig). |
Re: Events mechanism question
One more question related to DB.
There are 3 types of reference to scales: Magic 1, Magic-1, Drain 1. Do I understand properly that Magic-1=Magic 1, not Drain 1? |
Re: Events mechanism question
I think I've found the answer in the glossary.
