Here's the current description:

Bubastis was once a nation of felineheaded demihumans with human slaves, but the ruling caste of fierce and warlike lionheads led Bubastis to catastrophic wars against C'tis. Greatly diminished number of lionheads shifted
the political power in Bubastis to the catheads. The new ruling caste felt that Bubastis was vulnerable with the greatly diminished amount of lionheads. Their solution to the problem was to free the humans and teach them writing, crop rotation and astrology. Humans were not enough alone though, so the catheads turned towards the tombs of past warriors for more protection.

Bubastis is an egyptian themed nation of catheaded humanoids based of worship of Bastet. Worship of Bastet shifted from a fierce lionheaded war goddess towards a gentle catheaded fertility goddess after lost wars. Middle Age Bubastis has capital only lionheaded demihumans (size 3, but smaller than Jotun giants) and more common catheaded demihumans (size 2, slightly larger than humans) along with human soldiers. Since Bubastians cannot rely on the fierce lionheads and their fire magic to protect the realm anymore, they have turned towards reawakening the dead.

Bubastis has:
- Fairly good access to fire, death and nature, along with a splash of water and astral. Fire access is solely capital only though.
- National summons for undead troops ranging from chaff to decent sacred unit and a fairly strong thug-mage.
- Strong, fast, somewhat durable and skilled capital only sacred
- Chariot pulled by a big lion
- Infantry that can hold a line fairly well, but doesn't have very high damage weapons.
- Unarmored composite bow archers

All the work in the mod is still work in progress and subject to change upon suggestions and more work. Regardless, the mod is available at it's very unfinished stage at I personally won't link to Dominions 3 content made by me any more and I hope no-one else will either (old links are fine, whatever). You should be able to find them or most of them by asking on IRC or googling the other forums (the link was outdated anyway)
